Eleventh Planet is an artwork which sees a sculptured chrome sphere transform into a series of 3D animated artworks that present numerous worlds to explore inspired by the materiality of the cosmos and layers of deep time. This artwork is only accessible when you are standing in front of Eleventh Planet real-world sculpture on-site in Melbourne, Australia. The tracking markers for the AR form part of the artwork, they are composed of 100’s of unique black tiles set into the wall below the sphere, inspired by geometric Voronoi shapes .

Viewers activate the AR artwork by following the prompts and pointing your smart-device’s camera at the tiled walls under the sphere sculpture.
