Westvale Flowers

A community building and beautification project at the Westvale Community Centre and Gardens. The cyclone wire fences that surround the gardens were identified as a site to embellish. The project included engaging the Westvale Men’s Shed to assist in preparation of over 80 ply flower profiles. A drop in workshop during The Sustainable Living in Brimbank Festival followed, where members of the local community painted and decorated the flowers with much enthusiasm. They are now on permanent display for both community gardeners and passing traffic and people on Kings Rd, Westvale.
