Dianella Dwelling
Dianella Dwelling celebrates the Dianella amoena flax lily flower, an endemic species of the Reservoir-Thomastown area. This artwork aims to create awareness and encourage appreciation for the beauty and importance of local plants, particularly their often-overlooked tiny flowers. By enlarging the Dianella flower to monumental proportions, the sculpture invites viewers to appreciate it on the same scale as its pollinator companions, native Blue-Banded bees.
