Lunaris
Site-responsive Art, Land Art, Augmented Reality, New media, Interactive Art.
A public artwork located in the country town of Clunes, Victoria, Lunaris is a multi-layered interactive artwork. This unique site-responsive experience responds to Clunes’ geology, landscape and overt presence of the moon. It combines Land Art with Augmented Reality (AR) and is composed of a grassy crescent-shaped amphitheatre, encircling a 6-meter paved arena which functions as a grand tracking marker to transform, the arena section into a rotating domed section of the moon which has been created using real high-resolution NASA documentation.
