Fence in Flight
In collaboration with Jodee Mundy.
Fence in Flight was commissioned by Moreland Council to activate Wilson Street, which leads down to Jewell station, with a festival to bring a sense of dwelling to this space-at-risk. Fence in Flight saw the making of a permanent public artwork composed of colourful birds in chevron flight made on a car-park fence with colourful cable ties. Jodee and Joanne facilitated students at local Brunswick Primary School to produce this piece.
Fence in Flight was part of the first stage of Brunswick Better Block Project, activating Wilson Ave to become a permanent pedestrian zone and community place.
