Brush Tailed Phascogales
During the Brush-tailed Phascogale Art Workshop, participants had the opportunity to join Joanne in creating painted glow-in-the-dark artworks featuring this vulnerable nocturnal marsupial. Under Joanne’s guidance, attendees learned about the species and explored ways to protect and promote their presence in the local area. The workshop also involved designing habitats for the Phascogales. Selected phosphorescent cardboard critters were exhibited in the old vault at the Kyneton Museum, while children were able to take their own Phascogale artworks home as well.
Commissioned by the Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
