Unbound

Relief Sculpture.

The first in a series of router drawings on the same theme, Unbound reflects on the inextricable relationship of nature and culture. These works are made in recognition of the historical linniage of Western art which sees highly formal compositions of classical design having their origins in nature. Overlapped and repeated, the formal lines are drawn into tangled configurations suggesting their wild origins.
